Design Engineering
The Design Engineering department represents the fundamental vision behind every product solution at CP Industries. Over 75 years of combined experience drives our design team to bring customer expectations and industry technologies together, creating tools that empower our customers to reach their production goals.
The knowledge and adaptability of our team provides assurance, knowing that no matter the origin of the design, in the end, the collaborative progression between our customers and CP Industry Design Engineers will lead to the high-quality standards our customers deserve.
To obtain customer data needed to complete a project, CP Industries receives IGES and STEP formats from our customers through our secure FTP site.
Upon receipt of customer data and work to render the design, our Design Engineers work with industry-standard software (AutoCAD, CATIA, SURFCAM, SolidWorks, DelCam PowerMill, DelCam PowerShape, and Auto Desk Mechanical Desktop).
Our services include surface modeling & design, programming for 2-5 axis machines with capabilities extending from this for extreme customer needs. With regard to aftermarket product needs, we specialize in reverse engineering.
